I work with kids ranging from infants to pre- k but im mainly with 1-2yr olds. i come in while the kids are napping and prepeare there snack. then we have snack time which is when im with the toddlers. we finsih snack and then we play until there parents come to pick them up. I love working there. Its made me change career paths to early child hood. The kids are really sweet and were very welcoming. I get along with all the staff and plan to work there all day over the summer. Everyday i look forward to going to work, which is how i think its supposed to be. Seeing the kids every day and working with them is amazing!

young job-seekers hiding their facebook pages article - RESPONSE
1.) Name two statements from the article that you agree with and explain as to why you agree. Did any of the information offend you or did you feel was an invasion of privacy?
One of the people in this article changed his last name to his middle name. i liked this because of the same reason he had. Lefcort said "I just didnt want to be found by someone who was looking for me that im not friends with."
An employer states how he doesnt even look at facebook when researching a potential employee. Matlock said " I haven't looked at [an applicants] facebook page," "I try to stay away from it, myself. i think its too personal. "
I'm not really offended but i dont like how far employers seem to go when searching their applicants. A normal back ground check for criminal record and such, and just an interview should be suffice.
2.) List two things that YOU will personally change in your profile so that your reputation will not be jeopardized.
I might change my last name to my middle name instead because it seems like a good idea and wouldnt hurt. Also I will be more cautious as to what type of pictures i post and pictures I' tagged in, just to be on the safe side.
3. Comment on at least two of your classmates' responses to this article assignment. Do you agree or disagree with them? Explain your reasoning.
